Primary Care

Primary health remains the main unit of any functioning healthcare system.

It allows the local population to access preventative healthcare by ways of screening, immunization, health promotion, and education. Primary care also allows for the treatment and management of long-term, chronic, non-communicable diseases like Diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.

Primary care services place the local community at the heart of their planning and intervention. Doing this, allows people of all ages and diverse health statuses to access care that meets their social, physical, mental, and psychological needs.

Our Primary care initiatives had been to advise governments (local and state) of the benefits of primary to their population. We have been able to make presentations as part of our advocacy programs, submit strategy documents, and complete needs assessments.
